AES and Parson's Expo 2010

All the lucky ones left today for AES. Not me though. Too much planning to do for the Expo. Very exciting year. We're running it late this year for a few good reasons- we couldn't get it planned fast enough since we took over the business in September, AES was late this year, there's nothing good going on to get you out of work in early December, extra cash to spend late in the year, December 7th seemed perfect to me. Oh yes, one other thing, Bob Heil who will be attending and speaking has a daughter born on that day. I think her name maybe Pearl. Okay, why not Pearl Harbor day?

I cannot believe the line up of speakers this year- actually part of an allstar team of audio guys. Bob Ludwig, Kevin Killen, Rob Scovill, Bob Heil, Randy Weitzel, Gina Fant Saez and Fran Manzella plus  our usual distinguished guests with topics du jour- Dave Moulton, Tom Bates and probably a few others if I can find them. I'll be featuring them as we get closer in this blog.

Jason Waggoner from d&b audiotechnik is coming from Ashville NC and speaking on Line Arrays. If you're not familiar or want to become familiar with Line Arrays this would be a good start. Jason brings with him an array that will help bring together the theory and the practical. This is an aha moment for sure.

Bob Ostry from Shure will go over the new FCC guidelines and help you optimize your wireless systems. Bill is traveling from Michigan to be with us.

Enjoy AES if you're there.

Roger
