TGIF

Yikes, Avid announced today Protools 9. It is now a unified product meaning all hardware versions are now covered with one version of software. This version covers 3rd party support using ASIO and Core Audio compatible hardware. Automatic delay compensation, higher track count, and lots of plug-ins and instruments. EUCON integration is also included which allows you to use the Avid Artist series and Pro Series consoles (Euphonix) and controllers. OMF interchange and MP3 and VCA mixing is also included. As soon as its available, we will have them in stock.

I don't know about anyone else but THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY!  What a week! Our big accomplishment has been to retain the Lincoln Street Coffee Truck for the Parsons Expo. As every pro audio person knows, good potent coffee and yummy smoothies are a staple on any good gig. Here's a link in case you can't wait ... http://www.lincolnstreetcoffee.com/onthego.html

PTUG- Check out the news on the next PTUG meeting.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Wahoo good Coffee and delay compensation! Could I ask for more? Actually curious how the new version will shake out as an upgrade for hd users.
